Megastar Chiranjeevi today (Sunday, August 17, 2008) announced his political plans and dedicated his life to public. Ending the months of suspense over his political entry, the numero uno star met the press at his party office in Jubilee Hills and shared his views about politics, unveiled his political plans and bid adieu to acting.
Clad in a normal shirt and pant, he first made a speech and explained why he is stepping into politics. Later he faced the queries from the large media gathering and answered them confidently. It was started at 2.40 pm in the noon and ended by 3.37pm.

Dedicated life to the public

“There have been news and speculations about my political entry in the media. People reacted to them very positively. Seeing the positive response from them and their requests, I have decided to take the plunge. This is most memorable day in my life, a day that changed the path of my life and destiny. For 30 years, I have been traveling in one direction, now my journey has changed to another destiny. To serve the people better and in larger way, I am decided to enter into politics. From now onwards, my life is dedicated to the people. I believe it is divine intention that I should work for the people. It is my duty to serve them; to live with them.

Abdul Kalam inspired me..

“Recently I met several men from social and public life and interacted with them. Many of them gave valuable suggestions but it is A P J Abdul Kalam, former President of India, who inspired me and initiated me to join the politics. He narrated me an incident about his interaction with some students in Chandigarh. When he asked the students to whether they would become politicians, hardly anyone of them raised hands but when asked about other professions many of them said yes. It was pathetic to see that students have cheap perception about politics and politicians. He then told me that it is wrong of deserved and right minded citizens to not to enter into public life. His speech expelled all the doubts I had about politics and he inspired me to step into this direction.”

Chirutha will be hitting on September 28th, producer Ashwinidutt proclaimed. That means just 10 more days are left for the D-Day. Yet, no trailer or promo has been released. Fans and the industry watchers alike are waiting to see the first promo or trailer of Megastar's son's maiden movie. Probably keeping this in mind (the gargantuan expectations), no trailers has been aired despite the fact that the release date is nearing.

Buzz is that it will be out in a day or two. Perhaps, this would be the first film in commercial movie history where a most anticipated film has not released its trailer even 10 days before its final coming.

Shooting of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s film directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by Allu Aravind on the banner of Geetha Arts is going on at brisk pace in and around Hyderabad. Last 3 days, some romantic scenes were shot near Durgam Chervu area on the lead pair. Shooting of the talkie part of the film is most likely to be completed by the end of November or in the Second week of December.

Devi Sri Prasad is providing fantastic tunes for the first time to a film with Pawan Kalyan as hero. ‘Jalsa’ is the title under consideration for the movie. The film unit is claiming that a song choreographed on the hero and heroine in Ramoji Film City has came out well. Already two songs were canned for the movie. Produced under the prestigious banner of Vyjayanthi Movies, directed by none another than Puri Jagannadh, 'Chiru'tha is the the launch vehicle of our beloved Megastar's son "Ram Charan Tej". Mani Sharma was roped in to score the music.

Mani Sharma, just made sure that he sets the right stage for the launch pad. The ablum is a complete youth oriented, fast paced, and racy one. Read on to know where he scores the most.

1. Yamaho Yama (Rating: 4.50/5.00)
Singers: Kailash Kher, Tippu
Lyrics: Sirivennela

The song starts off with excellent guitar strummings and percussions. Fusion of North Indian and western orchestration, excellent rhythms and lively rendition by a melange of voices including Kailash Kher and Tippu make it stand out. Mani tuned the song with enough zing to make you shake a leg in the first hearing itself. The peppy dance number could very well be a visual treat to fans given the ample scope the song offers to Charan to show his dance skills. An excellent song to start the album with.

2. Love u Raa (Rating: 4.75/5.00)
Singers: Deepu, Rita
Lyrics: Ramajogayya Sastry

Typical Mani fare. Orchestration is simple with some good guitar work and slow when compared to the other lot in the album. Interludes stand out with good melody quotient. Rita and Deepu gives their best, Rita suited the song very well. Violin bit in the second interlude needs special mention.In recent times this is Excellent song.

3. Yenduko (Rating: 4.00/5.00)
Singer: Karunya
Lyrics: Bhaskarabhatla

This is one such song in the album thoroughly enjoyable with Karunya crooning with delectable ease and fun. Acoustic guitar gives the refreshing start to the song. With different rendering styles of Karunya, and a good lyrical support, the rollicking number with some excellent beats in interludes would have a greater appeal on screen. Karunya deserves a pat.

4. Champka Champka (Rating: 4.25/5.00)
Singers: Ranjit, Geetha Madhuri
Lyrics: Viswa

Geetha Madhuri takes the cake and gets all the attention. This is a youthful, beaty song, Ranjit and Geetha Madhuri go full blast in this rangy tune. With excellent orchestration and some good lyrics which are very apt for a song like this, this song is sure to become a chart buster.

Shehnai is very well exploited in another number in an album which already has ample dance and racy songs. Suchitra impresses with her raunchy rendition. Rahul just about makes sure he has given his best. This song would be loved by both mass and youth fans alike. Heavy orchestration and thumping beat makes it a party song. Hindi lyrics used, gel well with the song.

6. Kanneti (Bit Song)

Lyrics: Kandikonda

Mani has done an excellent job with the instruments he has used. Mallikarjun is the perfect choice for the song. A situational song, strongly supported by the violin once again proves why Mani is considered the best. Lyrics are good.

Lyrics: Kandikonda

This album really seems to be shaping up well. Kay Kay leaves a strong impression on the song with his perfect rendition. Sunitha proves once again why she is the best in the business. She brings an understated elegance and effectiveness to this rather fast paced song.

Charan Tej's maiden movie CHIRUTHA audio will be released on Aug 21st Night at a Mega function arranged in Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad. Gachibowli stadium is going to be the venue for CHIRUTHA Audio release function. This is a mega auditorium and can accommodate minimum of 5000 people. This function is going to be a memorable event for all Megafans as both Chiranjeevi's 53rd birthday celebrations and Charan's first movie Audio release will be celebrated from the same venue.

Earlier this auditorium is used for other cine related functions such as Film Fare awards. This stadium is also the venue of Chiranjeevi's Padmabhushan Felicitation by Telugu Film Industry bigwigs.

Record Collections in Guntur for SDZB........

Chiranjeevi movies does always have a thundering openings at Guntur. It is been a fact for the last 28 years. Megastar's latest sensation SDZ is also creating records in Guntur.

On first day of it's release it got a share of 40 lakhs on 16 prints in 15 stations and by end of 3 days it got collected (40 + 22 + 18 lakhs) 80 lakhs and expected to collect more than one crore rupees(1.1 crore is the rough estimation) by first week i.e. 7 days. This is another record. As Chiranjeevi is the only Hero in the history of Guntur area to have crossed one crores first week share land mark. Again Chiranjeevi is going to occupy second place by surpassing his own brother Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's annavaram first week share of 90+ lakhs. Remember that 2nd day of the release 28th July few shows were cancelled due to the opposition parties bundh in the state.

SDZ is released in 6 theatres in Guntur, out of which gowrishankar is one day theatre and remaining 5 theatres are week theatres. The maximum entry fee for these halls is 60Rs and the theatres are, krishna Mahal, krishna Picture Palace, Naz apsara (all are in less than 200 meters distance in Guntur one town). Remaning two theatres are bollywood and Harihara Mahal in Two Town.

Charan Tej's movie CHIRUTHA completed its 3rd schedule in Bangkok and the unit had returned back to Hyderabad on 28th of July. Though Charan back to Hyderabad on 26th July. With this 35 days schedule 75% of the movie is completed except songs and some vital scenes. So far 3 songs, all fight sequences and major part of the talkie is over.

As per the unconfirmed news from trusted sources, Chirutha unit is planning to can couple of songs at New Zealand. This would be the 5th schedule and the 4th schedule is planned in Hyderabad.

Megastar Chiranjeevi's latest sensational movie Shankar Dada Zindabad created a new history by collecting more than 6.2 crores share in day one. This is a phenomenal record and the major share holder this time too was Nizam area. In Nizam alone the movie collected little less than 2 crores in its opening day. Increased number of prints (around 110 in Nizam area) and increased number of theatres with price hikes made this rare feat possible only to megastar. In Ceeded area also it collected almost one crore rupees and UA area is the next highest share holder with 60 lakhs.

Nellore is another area where it collected 28+ lakhs in its first day. Karnataka also recorded heavy turnout and on the total approximately 6.2 crores collected on day one. This 6.2 crores excludes fixed hires and share guarantees.

He stealthily opened the room and peeped inside. ‘Mega Dad(a)’ and ‘Mega Son’ Priced Mega!

Two mega films from Mega Star's family are now releasing at a reasonable interval between the two. While 'Shankardada Zindabad' is releasing on 25 th of July, 'Chirutha' is tentatively releasing in September. The date was announced earlier that Chirutha will be hitting the screen on September 22nd, the release date of Chiranjeevi's first film 'Pranam Khareedhu'.

Fresh says that the overseas distribution rights for the film Shankardada Zindabad were sold out for around Rs 1.60 Crore while 'Chirutha' has gone for around Rs 1.50 Cr.

The rights of 'Chirutha' were sold out in Andhra Pradesh at an approximate price of Rs 27 Crore as per the grapevine, where in some areas it overtook Chiranjeevi's 'Sankardada Zindabad' as well.

Coming to the film 'Athidhi', the entire distribution rights were sold out for UTV at a price around Rs 23 Cr. Initially, producer Ramesh Babu sold the distribution rights of the film in some areas. Now he paid back that amount to those distributors of those specified regions as he signed an agreement with UTV.

The unofficial sources say that the overseas rights of 'Yamadonga' were sold at a sum around Rs 65 lakhs.
That's about the apparent business figures of the newly releasing films.

After the news Allu Arjun and Ravi Teja acted in the film revealed, the fresh gossip is about Ram Charan's presence in the film. It was stated that Ram Charan is also going to be seen in the film but not in person. He is appearing in the form of 'Chirutha poster'. That way Chiranjeevi's entire family can be seen in it.

Shobhi a dance director from Chennai impressed Megastar Chiranjeevi with his composition and style of Dance movements. Shobhi worked with Chiranjeevi for the foreign songs (Australia songs) and according to chiranjeevi they came out really good. The two songs are Melodious Chandamama and Bhugolamantha sanchilona.

Impressed with his work in Australia, Megastar called him for the picturization of Good Morning Hyderabad.. song. As per the latest news available, Good morning song is going to be a eye feast song for the fans and general audience and undoubtedly the best song in the album. 60 dancers were roped in for the song and 30 among them are Mumbai girls and rest of the 30 are chennai males. Composition is simply terrific with some nice cool steps. This song is going to be the first song of the movie and needless to say the best one in the lot.

For starters Shobhi worked recently for Bommarillu and all the classic songs of Bommarillu (foreign songs like Bommani chusthe and other songs) are composed by Shobhi.
